Overview

King’s Church in the Marshes provide streams of living water by meeting the needs of different people groups within our community.  We allow the heart of the Father to guide us in providing hope to the hopeless, food for the hungry, love for the lost and wholeness for the broken. We have housed those in need since 2003 so this has been a big part of our daily activities. GP’s vision to house the homeless is in line with our vision and what GP can offer in the way of a partnership is a perfect way for us to continue to help those in desperate need.

Achieved To Date

Project 58 has been commissioned as a safe haven in the heart of rural Lincolnshire.  Our mission is to provide a safe shelter for homeless women to be nurtured and in order for them to be fully equipped for independent living for life. We aim to empower women to be all they are designed to be through unconditional love and investment in them.  We recognize every woman’s story is unique and their individual needs are at the heart of what we provide for them. We also provide a Community Hub for the Elderly, Food Outreach Program and Naomi’s Garden is working with children and adults with movement disorders in our conductive education centre.

Why We Do This

Our purpose: The Great Commission "...Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you..."  Matthew 28:19-20.

Future Plans

We see this as an ongoing work. We would like to create a supportive living project to house and support young people with special educational needs whose parents are not coping with them at home but do not have the skills to live independently yet.

green pastures review

King's Church Marshes are an exceptional church with an outward focus and care for the community. We are so impressed by their care and passion and it is a pure joy to work alongside Donna and the team in planning for the future! We are looking forward to supporting them in continued growth and to see them transform lives for the glory of God. We have no doubt they will play a pivotal role in ending homelessness in the UK!
